Mr. Nikolaos Papatsas brings over four decades of leadership and innovation across the fields of information technology, operations, and defense systems. A graduate of The College of Wooster (Ohio, USA) with a degree in Computer Science and holder of an M.B.A. from Clark University (Massachusetts, USA), Mr. Papatsas began his professional career directing IT systems at Aspen Square Management, a national real estate firm. He later served as Vice President of Operations and Information Systems at Asahi/America, a manufacturer and international distributor of industrial products, based in Boston, while he also consulted for organizations in finance and telecommunications.

In 1994, he joined European Finance & Aerospace Ventures (EFA VENTURES), a company with core activities in the Aerospace, Security & Defense fields. As a partner at EFA VENTURES, Mr. Papatsas played a key role in shaping strategic initiatives and was a co-founder of THEON SENSORS SA in 1997, which today is a global leader in Night Vision and Electro-Optic Systems for defense and security applications, and EFA GROUP both headquartered in Athens, Greece.

Mr. Papatsas has extensive experience in Aerospace and Defense technologies as well as industrial cooperation programs. He also serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Aerospace Security & Defense Industries Group (HASDIG – www.hasdig.com.gr), which represents the largest state and private companies with activities in the A&D sector in Greece.
