George Menexis is an Electrical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the Aerospace, Defense and Security industry. He is a graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology of the University of Patras. He holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, England. He has worked in several multinational companies in the telecommunications, defense and security sectors. During his professional career, he has held positions as a Project Manager in the production of electronic subsystems for missiles, Business Development positions in International Industrial Partnerships and Countervailing Benefits where he worked for three years in the Middle East in the United Arab Emirates, a Commercial Director position in a multinational company offering Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk Management and Compliance services.

George Menexis has been with the EFA GROUP for 11 years, and is now the CEO of SCYTALYS, a leading global software company with thirty years of experience in Tactical Data Links and Interoperability services, mission and command and control (C2) systems that enable network-centric operations for its customers worldwide.

He is also the CEO of THYREOS CYBER, a company that was founded in 2025 by ThreatScene and EFA GROUP, with the objective of providing advanced cybersecurity services and platforms for mission-critical and high-reliability environments.
