Smith joined Anduril Industries in 2022 as part of the company’s Mission Operations team, which oversees the execution, growth, and success of customer accounts. He went on to lead that team in the UK and Europe, playing a key role during a period of significant scaling for the company across the European continent. He now works to deliver Anduril’s growth and strategic initiatives in Europe as a member of the Global Defense team.

Previously, Smith served in HM Royal Marines for seven years, holding leadership roles in maritime operations and capability development. His service included deployments to the Middle East, Sub- Saharan Africa, and Europe, providing him with extensive experience in operational execution and strategic planning across diverse and complex defense environments. Before his military service, Smith spent a year in consulting, gaining early exposure to strategic problem-solving and business operations.

At Anduril, Smith has been instrumental in building customer relationships and driving business development across the UK and Europe. He works closely with NATO partners and allied governments to advance the company’s strategic objectives and expand its operational footprint on the continent.

Combining his interests in travel, culture, and sport through several recent cycling trips around Europe, Smith is learning Italian. With an academic background in Economics, Smith brings a unique combination of military leadership, operational expertise, and business acumen to his role at Anduril.
