Cyrille Bret is a specialist in defence and security affairs. The author of Ten Attacks That Changed the World and What Is Terrorism?, he regularly publishes articles and policy notes in the French and European press. A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), he is an agrégé and holds a PhD in philosophy, and is also a former auditor of the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale (IHEDN).
