Miro Kovač is a diplomat and politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia. During his parliamentary tenure, he chaired the Foreign Affairs Committee and served in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. He is an expert on European integration and the geopolitical stability of Southeast Europe.
A distinguished Croatian statesman, Kovač served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and, between 2016 and 2020, represented the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) in the Croatian Parliament, where he played a central role in shaping foreign policy as Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee. He was also an active member of the European Affairs Committee and the Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee.
In parallel, Kovač represented Croatia in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and participated in numerous Parliamentary Friendship Groups, fostering strategic ties with partners including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, and Ukraine.
